ONLINE REGISTRATION GUIDELINE SECOND SEMESTER 2022/2023 |
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA!
In the next few weeks, registration for the new students will open. We are excited that you will be part of UPM’s community. Your smooth registration process is very important to us. Therefore, please read carefully about the following important information:
1. ACCEPTING UPM OFFER
If you plan to change the programme or field of study, please fill in this application form and email it to the respective faculty and advisor for support. The completed form should be emailed to pg_admission@upm.edu.my for further action. You are advised to do it earlier or at least 2 weeks before the registration week to avoid any delays.
Before proceed with the registration, all candidates need to accept the offer of admission by login into the Postgraduate Application Portal (http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsportal/).
If you are unable to accept the offer, please email to pg_admission@upm.edu.my for further assistance.
Candidates may defer to the next intake if have difficulties joining an online class or any other reasons. However, please take note that our offer is valid for 2 semesters only.

2. ONLINE REGISTRATION
UPM will be conducting online registration of new postgraduate students through PutraENROLL. PutraENROLL is accessible by candidates who accept or defer an offer to Second Semester 2022/2023. Candidates are required to complete all sections and upload all required documents into the system. Please read carefully the PutraENROLL User Manual before starting online registration to help you to prepare the required documents. You are also advised to refer to the following information related to health requirements and tuition fees.

- Additional fee for students who receive the following scholarship:
a) JPA CBBP : RM180.00
b) JPA PPC : RM600.00
c) KPT SLAB/ SLAI/ HLP : RM180.00
d) KPT MTCP : RM230.00
e) KPT MIS : RM230.00
f) KPM : RM180.00
g) UNIKL : RM600.00
Please make payment to 8002155042 (U.P.M COLLECTION) and combine the receipt with the scholarship offer letter before uploading the combined document to PutraENROLL.
UPM will check and endorse all the documents and information within a week. You may check your PutraENROLL from time to time to get the latest registration status. You also will receive a notification email if any section of your PutraENROLL is rejected or after you have successfully completed the registration process. Your matric number will also be issued.
3. LATE REGISTRATION
New students can register until:
- Programme by coursework: 23 March 2023 (11.59 pm)
- Program by research: 08 June 2023 (11.59 pm)
Please take note that:
- There is no registration of new students for the programme by coursework after the date mentioned above.
- Although new students for the programme by research can register until 9 June 2023, however, there are no courses
that can be registered at that time except for research (Master Research – 6 credits / Doctoral Research – 6 credits).
