Southeast Asian University Consortium for Graduate Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources, or better known as The University Consortium (UC) was founded in 1989 aims to share expertise and academic resources among Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia particularly in areas related to Agriculture and Natural Resources. The secretariat for UC is the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) based in the Philippines.

Since its inception, every UC member has to attend the annual meeting of UCEBM every year. The host will be rotate among the UC members. This year, UPM through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS) was chosen to be the host of the UCEBM with SEARCA as the co-host of the meeting. It will be held online via Webex Meeting on 16 and 17 December 2021.

This meeting is also as a platform for UC present annual reports, financial reports as well propose and approve new proposals for any activity or academic collaborations that benefit UC including forging new partnerships with institutions/agencies/organizations from the countries involved.

On the first secretariat meeting of the 34^th University Consortium Executive Board Meeting was held online via Zoom Meeting as an introduction about the programme and also briefly explaination on each secretariat jobscope during the event.
